Urbanic Soups
In July I sowed vegetable and herb seeds in patches of soil I came across whilst walking around East London where I live.
I chose vegetables and herbs that were seasonal and grew fast.
On dry days I would go to tend and water my crops, harvesting the vegetables and herbs that had survived just before going to Lincolnshire in September.
I used my urbanic produce to prepare and cook a range of soups to give to visitors to Revesby Village Hall. |
